TESTIMONIALS

Hi Jeffra.
I wanted to give you an update on PC... Trudy called me a couple of days ago to tell me about him.  She had him out working with him in the round pen and said he had so much energy- she said he was trotting on the lead line!  She said it was obvious he was feeling good and was having fun.  I think we need to continue regular treatments; they seem to really make a difference for him.
Thanks for everything!
Diane

I think she looks fantastic-
I thought they were going to starve to death, when I started your program-
Now, I'm hooked !!
I have been really working on getting her to work off her rear and she is getting smoother and smoother .
Thank you for all you have done,
Mimi

Fairy Tale Snow Pony says Merry Christmas

Thanks again for adjusting me. There is hope for the left lead canter and there is no more tail manure mashing on the wall J   What fun games especially when both hind legs work right. I got a 4th and second at my jumper show after only 7 jumper lessons and someone offered to buy me and take me home.
Cici and Martha

Cici says thank you and so do I. I don’t think I’ve ever ridden a straighter more supple horse and I was surprised and pleased the muscle strength was pretty even. I know that pelvic crookedness has been there since I got her. I’m being very careful for a few days undersaddle till she is fully stretched and aware of her new balance. I think she was most relieved by the neck adjustment and I should be able to fix that with carrot stretches if it recurs. I can see from the ground whether the pelvis is right by the width of her hind end stance. It would be too good to be true if she stopped mashing her manure into her tail and wall, but there are some hopeful signs on that!

Have a wonderful holiday season and thank you from both of us.   Martha

So....  I rode him today and here's how it went.  Sound at the walk,  which he's always been,  so I asked for a slow jog which he was off at,  but not quite as bad as he's been.  I asked for a faster trot, as that usually works him out of it,  but he was still off at the faster trot,  which is actually new for him.  He wanted to go though and was feeling peppy once he was warmed up,  so I wanted to experiment a bit and see if he would work out of it,  so I actually pushed him more than I have in quite awhile.  And lo and behold...  I get the most beautiful, sound trot out of him with his head down and relaxed that I have seen in months!!  So,  being who I am,  I asked for the canter,  just asked,  didn't demand just to see if it was there,  and if it wasn't  that was just fine.  It was right there!!  We had a beautiful and sound canter too,  just brief,  but still wonderful!!  He was my Monkey Man again,  he felt like he did months ago before the lameness started.  I can't tell you how big my smile was (his too).  We just had the nicest ride.
Thank You,  thank you,  thank you!!  We still have a ways to go as far as weight loss and re-conditioning him,  but for the first time in 4 months,  I feel like we are on our way there!!!!!!!!!   You are an awesome and beautiful woman with a gift and I am so happy to have met you. We are going to go slow,  don't worry,  I am not someone who pushes the crap out of their horses by any means,  but today was really incredible to see that it is all still there and that he can be sound.  I am so happy tonight.
Blessings,
Lynda & Magic

Jeffra,
Holy smokes!! What a difference!! I am completely amazed. He is round and carrying himself and light in the mouth...I can't even believe it.
Thank you SO much and can't wait for your visit in June.
Sincerely,
Lara

Jeffra,

You have no idea of the impact you have made on my life. After you worked on my hips at the previous clinic, my feet stopped hurting. I didn’t realize how much pain I had been in until the pain went away.

My back doesn’t hurt any more. My shoulders are 100% better than they used to be.

I have so much more movement. My whole demeanor has changed. I am calmer at work and are now setting boundaries on my work life and enjoying my life more. I have a way to go but everything comes with time and commitment.

I am looking forward to the next time you do a clinic because I want to know more. You are blessing to all of us and our horses.

Nancy

Hey Jeffra,
I want to thank you for all you have done for me and my loved ones equine, human and canine.
My boys are feeling good.  Santana was able to stretch his topline and engage his hindquarters even going right.  Yeah Santana!  He was also much lighter to stop and overall much more relaxed and open to my support and direction.  I also felt confident in my ability to help him and his ability to do what I was asking.  Jackson felt great.  He had spring in his movement.  I am still primarily working on his walk but I asked for a bit of trot and it was amazing.  Soft and springy and he stretched his neck down without me even asking!  I'm going to let him play on the lunge line today so he can see for himself how great he feels without the added challenge of a rider.  I'll make sure to keep you updated on their/our progress.
As for the dogs,  I am giving your puppy Moxie lots of love and pets.  (As if she would accept any less!)  Maddox has also decided that he likes Valor and his bossy sister Keepir likes Release.
Again thank you!  Hugs,
Melina

Hi Jeffra,
What a difference after our visit!!!  Cole was so relaxed (Jager too...ok...me too) on the ride home after we saw you.  Cole cuddled right up to Jager and they remained that way the whole hour ride home!  I don't think either of them moved once!  Cole seems really happy and balanced since we saw you....  Feels so nice to have another option on the horizon!  I can't thank you enough!  We'll keep you in the loop as he gets better and better!  Right now we're watching Cesar, then a calm assertive dog walk and maybe some time at the beach.
Everything happens for a reason, I know Cole is meant to be here and I feel so lucky to have him in my life!  Thanks for all your help with him!!!!
We'll be in touch!
Kelly

Hi Jeffra,
I just want you to know how much you have changed my life. Of course I could never thank you enough.
First of all my feet do not hurt. I am so thankful everyday that I can walk and at the end of the day I am not crying in pain.
Now for the rest of my painful body....I would have to come and live with you....
I think the orthobionomy is like a miracle and can not wait to learn more.
I have bought a book and am going to sign up for a on line class(not that I want to work on people)
When I went for a ride on my pony Stewart I was in shock how much freedom and swing he had in his walk. As for the trot, well I understand his conformation and why he moves as he does but still it was so free.
Thanks again for giving me back a life with less pain.
Marian

Jeffra,
You worked with my horse Vegas about a month ago, I wanted to let you know, what a different horse, he is riding now, no bucking or anything, acts like he enjoys it now. Thank you again for saving Vegas, because I  was ready to give him away to anyone because I thought he was just a bad horse. What a difference you made.
Thanks again,Melody

Jeffra,
Cool .. thanks ...  Looks like you are gaining a big
following around here ... everyone wants you back sooner ...
Also, you should know that Blue's trainer, Isabel, is just amazed at how
much movement and freedom he has and how his capabilities are increasing!
:-)

Suggestions for Summertime Feeding-by Jeffra Sinclair

Personally, I recommend feeding as close to nature as possible, such as COB (corn, oats & barley). Corn is controversial for many people. It contains less fiber and lots more energy per pound then oats, and corn has an undeserved reputation for being a heating feed. In fact, oats generate more b.t.u’s (heat units) in digestion then corn does. Barley contains less fiber and is cooling to digestion. Many horses become Hot & Hyper on oats, because of an alkaloid called avenin, which is a central nervous system stimulant. Horses susceptible to avenin do really well on rolled barley instead of oats, with some added corn or Black Oil Sunflower Seeds for fat (topline).

Electrolytes are also very important during the summer months for our working athletes.

But not all electrolytes are them same. Most commercial electrolyte formulas have processed salt (sodium chloride) at a rate of more then 50% potassium and the remainder being minerals in an inorganic, unusable form as well as dyes and artificial flavorings that are not conducive to keeping a clean liver. I feed a liquid electrolyte that is based in an organic human-grade cane molasses and amino acid chelates of magnesium, calcium and trace minerals for bioavailability. Black strap molasses works well, as long as you are feeding a loose free choice salt and/or loose free choice minerals to balance out whatever imbalances might have occurred from sweating due to extreme heat, endurance rides, humidity, etc. You should not feed an electrolyte mix high in potassium. Concentration of salt dimishes in the blood as sodium transmutes into potassium. The potassium will be replenished quickly through the process of transmutation of sodium to potassium. Heat is absorbed in this process, thereby helping to cool the body. The reverse process (potassium to sodium) actually releases and generates heat.

Salt should never be force-fed in a ration. Horses should be fed loose natural trace mineral or sea salt. Salt is hydroscopic, which means, it draws water to the body.  Salt that has had flow improvers (aluminum silicate) added to it should never be fed to your horse.

Feeding good quality grass hay is always beneficial. Be mindful of the percentage of protein in your hay. Alfalfa hay is often 18-20% protein or higher, and protein is not an effective calorie source. Excess protein forms acid upon digestion and will cause the body to leach calcium and other minerals to buffer the acid in the bloodstream. Horses on high-protein diets can have tendon and ligament problems along with excessive external heat, and may become arthritic at an early age.

Interestingly, horses on excessively high protein diets can run hotter and appear fat. But if the protein is taken away for a few days they will literally urinate themselves thin. The tissues are retaining water to dilute the acid from the protein and they are not building lean muscle mass.

Natural Trace Mineral Salt vs. Salt Blocks
-
by Jeffra Sinclair

A friend & nutritionalist once told me “salt should either be pink or gray and shouldn’t be messed with by man”. It should be just as it comes out of the ground or out of the sea whichever you prefer. Although if you consider what is going on in our oceans nowadays with all the pollution, i.e. cruise ships, Oil tankers, agricultural run off, etc. I would be more inclined toward salt from an ancient inland sea bed as it would be a lot cleaner.
The function of salt in the body is to attract water. Salt is Hydroscopic. If you’re saltshaker does not have to be tapped on the table to get it out of the saltshaker, it’s has flow improvers added, such as aluminum silicate to make it free flowing. This inhibits the salt’s function in the body of drawing water to it. If you’re feeding salt to your horses and it does not get wet when there’s high humidity, chances are it’s had flow improvers added to it. You know those little packets that come in your vitamins that say do not ingest? Those packets are aluminum silicate; they are designed to keep moisture out.
There is a phenomenon know as biological transmutation which means that positive ion minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium can actually transmute one mineral into another in the body. So, if a horse is magnesium or calcium deficient and sodium is all you’re giving it, they’ll eat a whole lot of sodium to try and balance out they’re system. Horses have a particular salt intake. If your horse is ingesting A LOT of salt it usually means there’s a toxin involved and it needs to attract extra water to dilute the concentration of the toxin or poison. Another reason horses eat salt is they’re looking for a mineral that might be in a very trace amount.
Salt is essential for proper digestion. Hydrochloric (stomach) acid production is dependent on having the chloride ion present, and that comes from…sodium chloride! Remember that salt must be in a natural form in order to do its job. Once salt has been bleached, made into blocks or has inorganic trace minerals added, it no longer does such a great job in the body. You cannot take salt and put it into a block form without some type of binder. This is just one more toxin your horse does not need to ingest. Many horses are forced to get their salt from blocks, and since they do not have rough tongues like cows, they tire of licking before they get enough. Or they try to chew the block, and that stresses the TMJ, so they give up and just don’t get the salt they really want and need.
As a rule horses should not be consuming a large amounts of salt, if they are, there’s either a mineral deficiency happening or there’s a toxin involved.
It is very important that horses be fed a LOOSE NATURAL trace mineral salt FREE CHOICE.

THE BIG SCAM-----RABIES VACCINATION
By Dr. John Fudens, D.V.M.

I would like to give you, the reader, the truth about the so called required vaccinations, particularly rabies.  There are two basic forms of law.  One is the legal Constitutional and Common law that this country was founded on, and the other is “colorable” law passed by Administrative agencies/bureaucrats who have been given so called authority to pass laws.  Black’s Law Dictionary 5th Edition defines colorable law as “that which is in appearance only, and not in reality, what purports to be, hence counterfeit, feigned, having the appearance of truth.”  Yes, I study the law, am a paralegal, and have an extensive law library.
So any and all mandatory rabies vaccination programs are colorable law, in that they have been passed and mandated upon the pet owning public by certain vested interest groups. Who are these groups?  First and foremost are veterinarians, in general, and veterinarian medical organizations.  Second are the local animal control personnel, bureaucrats and politicians. What are their reasons? GREED, POWER AND CONTROL.
Both these large powerful interest groups stand to benefit greatly by having rabies mandated by colorable law.
Veterinarians receive a large percentage of both their gross income and profit from vaccines given in the office.  On average, vaccines cost 60 to 95 cents per dose and are charged to the client at $15 to $25 per injection and substantially more in the large cities.  Therefore, if veterinarians lobby to have a colorable law passed to give rabies vaccine every year, that enhances their financial picture.
The veterinary medical societies, by working with other groups and area politicians, are rewarded by in-creased prestige and professional standing in the community. After all we are protecting you from the dreaded disease rabies, whether it exists or not.  Some areas of the country are more enlightened and fortunate to have the rabies vaccine mandated every three years.  You can be assured the rise of rabies is never taken into account as to whether the vaccine should be required or not.  More on this later.  The local government personnel benefit by extending more control over our lives, enriching the public treasury with fees, tags and fines, and giving the appearance that local government is doing something about animal populations, disease and risks to the public.  Since rabies vaccines have been mandated, what county or area has seen less dog and cat bites, better animal control, more public awareness and educating of pet owning responsibility, better birth control of unwanted animals, less euthanasia of animals and decreased growth of animal control facilities?
These special groups and lobbies will use any argument, realistic or not, to justify their position.  They are excellent at using the media to spread the lies and distortions.  Examples:
“We have increased numbers of dogs biting people, pitbulls attacking and killing children are on the increase. More dogs and cats are running loose terrorizing neighborhoods, killing wildlife and other domestic stock, etc.  .ad nauseam.”
The only thing rabies vaccination is for is the protection from rabies virus, all other justifiers for the vaccine fall under human control and exist because there are a certain number of humans, connected to animals who are irresponsible. Rabies is spread by the bite of an infected animal.  The number of dog/cat bite cases in the U.S. that expose humans to rabies is as rare as shark attacks.  This low incident rate has nothing to do with mandatory vaccination as the number of cases was low before the mandatory requirement.
Let me give you an example of Pinellas County, Fl where my affinity Clinic is located.  I secured information from Pinellas Animal Control through the Freedom of Information Act.  The record of animal control starts in 1964. From 1964 to 1978 there were zero cases of dog rabies in the county.  Magically in 1978, rabies vaccine was mandated to be given every year and all dogs tagged and licensed.  WHY?  Well it seems four veterinarians, with animal control bureaucrats, pushed the county board of supervisors to pass a law mandating rabies vaccination every year.  There were three local vets and one professor fro the State Veterinary College who were behind this.  It was interesting reading their letters pushing this law and the minutes of the county meeting.  There was talk of dogs biting people (no actual figures given), dogs running loose, animal overpopulation, rabies on the increase in the U.S. (the increase was in wildlife, not dogs), etc., etc.  Not once was the issue discussed that there was no rabies in the county in dogs.  To this date, there still has not been one case of dog rabies, including the population of dogs whose owners, GOD BLESS THEM, do not vaccinate for rabies.  Let’s go further.
From 1964 to 1989 there were no cases of rabies in cats in Pinellas County.  Magically in 1989 a law was passed mandating rabies vaccination, tags and licenses for all cats. Same tired worn out excuses were used.  Since the 1989 law there was one cat with rabies contracted from the bite of a bat.
DO YOU READERS REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT I HAVE JUST STATED?
This is standard throughout the Country.  No allowance is made for dogs/cats/ who never leave the house or yard, could never be exposed to rabies under any circumstances, or who are so ill, old or at the end of their life cycle that the rabies vaccine would throw them over the edge.  No, all dogs and cats are treated the same because we have the bogeyman, rabies, stalking the streets waiting to strike unprotected dogs and cats.
Is there rabies in this Country?  You bet.  Are there areas of this Country that have rabies in their wildlife population and do some dogs/cats become infected?  You bet.  But lets be realistic.  Rabies has been on this earth long before man walked here and will be here ling after we are gone. The only way to get rid of rabies is to remove mankind and the upper animals susceptible to the virus.  Then maybe the virus will die off.  It is a self limiting disease in the wild as it is fatal. So the virus has an extremely hard time spreading far and wide.
What is wrong with targeting those areas of the Country that have a problem with rabies using a realistic and specially formulated program that will protect the population at risk?  Too logical and the special groups don’t make any money.  Why not educate the pet owner to the risks and dangers and let them decide whether thee immune system damage from rabies vaccination is greater or lesser than contracting the disease.  We do have a God give constitutionally secured right to
LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.
Public health officials always have the right to mandate emergency health care procedures in case the public, in general does not respond properly.  But why should every day, month and year be as if an emergency or crisis exists?  And why should we have more and more control of our lives taken from us?
The vaccines, particularly rabies, are a political and economic scam being forces upon pet owners because they do not know the truth.  Rabies, nationwide, is nowhere near the problem the veterinarians, media, politicians and bureaucrats would like you to believe.  If you wish more of the truth, go to your local city or county government building and look up the codes and statutes concerning vaccines and rabies.  Get figures from local animal control for rabies in dogs, cats and wildlife in your area.  Then you can start to fight back, take control of your life, and protect your pet from the only dreaded disease that is important---special interest groups pushing their program leading to vaccine induced immune systems.  Only you can set yourself free.
Current Veterinary Therapy by Kirk, the textbook bible for veterinarians in general, has an article on canine and feline vaccines by two researchers.  Near the end of the article is a paragraph called:
 Annual Vaccinations.
It states “The practice of annual vaccinations lacks scientific validity or verification.  There is no immunological requirement for annual vaccinations.  The practice of annual vaccinations should be considered of questionable efficacy unless it is used as a mechanism to provide an annual physical examination or is required by law.”

Well reader, it is your choice.  I can only hope to stimulate you to look and go further.  You don’t have to take this suppression.  Fight back.  The only thing you have to lose is your freedom and you have already lost a great deal of it.  I can fight with you but I can’t do it alone.
